My name is Karené.
With a Fine Art Degree in photography, I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years now. I have worked with many clients in various fields and through experience, I have come to love photographing still-life's in my studio space - to use my professional studio equipment, to capture details and make products look valuable. I do more than just show people what products look like, I use light to communicate a feeling or atmosphere that tells a story about a business and enhance visual branding. Simply Pause Photography is about slow living and taking care when creating something. It is the name of my original blog, which was about photographing the simple beauty in everyday life and it's that vision which you'll still find in my photography today.
I love being out in vast open landscapes, enjoying a glass of wine at the fire and cannot do without my morning coffee.
